APT/S Auto Air Permeability Tester – Latest 2024 – 10-2500Pa
Application : APT/S is used for fast, simple, and accurate determination of the air permeability, with it wide measuring range, it is suitable for all kinds of knitted, woven, non-woven, coated fabrics, paper, film, leather, etc.
Principle : Test sample is placed on the clamping head, set parameters of test on the Program based software on the HMI, by pressing down the upper clamping arm the system automatically start, the system automatically adjust machine and shift nozzles if required, after a few seconds the test results is then displayed and excel report is generated; the reports can be output to a USB for printing or to any network by LAN connected with help of VNC Software.

Application
The APT/C Air Permeability Tester is a specialized instrument designed to measuring the air permeance of coated fabrics by applying controlled air pressure, measuring airflow through the sample, and calculating permeance to assess suitability for applications requiring air tightness.
The APT/C Machine, following ASTM D 5193, automatically pressurizes one side of a membrane or coated fabric specimen to a specified pressure, while covering the other side with water or soap solution, and observes for the absence of air bubbles on the exposed surface to verify that there are no pin-holes, leaks, or defects, ensuring the material meets requirements for applications demanding air-tightness.
